Since The Fire

Since the fire.
Before the fire.
After "it" happened.
AF.
BF.
There's a new meridian
Dividing our lives
From "once was"
And
"What will be."
A fine fucking place
To find oneself-
Walking on that line
That line that seems
To span as far
As the eye can see
In both directions...
A fine fucking place
To find oneself
When that self
Thrives on and strives to
Live. In. The. Now.
When the now is
Some grey-goddamn-eternal-plain
With no division
Between sky and Earth
Or is it earth?
Capital. Lower case.
One observes something
Bigger than self.
Bigger than now.
The other..the other..
A plot of soil-land.
When there is
BF..
And...
Af..
Now must be the Grey Time
Newly defined...as such
