Poison ash 
swept by wind 
across the whole 
of my psychological expanse

Finding purchase 
in the most finite and unassuming crevices 

The black metastasizes 
becoming cataracts,
blurring all I see 

I see the keys and 
can reach the wheel 
but can't help but feel
a paralyzed passenger 
on this radioactive road trip
