Deluge


This deluge of filthy poison
drowns warm and simple truths

Innocent laborers that aid the common-man
become masterful-craftsmen-butchers
eager to choke and carve the possibility
of meaningful connection

Being laborers, as they are,
their intentions become fodder-for-the-new
